Plumber
This is a skilled work of installing, maintaining, and repairing water distribution and sewage disposal systems and sanitary facilities of the hospital. An employee in this position is responsible for the water distribution and sewage disposal systems and sanitary facilities of the hospital. Assignments are received written/orally and may be accompanied by sketches or blueprints. Supervision is received but the employee works with considerable technical independence requiring direction only in cases presenting unusual problems or requiring major deviations from original instructions. Work is reviewed by a supervisor upon completion for compliance with instructions and conformity to established standards.

This is skilled shift work in performing repair and maintenance work and related service activities of the Schneider Regional Medical Center. Employee works from a central maintenance shop responding to request for repair and maintenance work. Employee performs repair work on the Medical Center's plumbing, electrical, heating, air condition and refrigeration facilities and equipment. General instructions and supervision are received from an administrative or technical employee and/or an assign supervisor. Employee is expected to use some initiative in assuming repair and maintenance assignments and in working with a minimum of immediate supervision.
