Dining Room Manager
Supervises sanitation of cafeteria and related worked areas. Decorates service areas according to season and meal specials. Coordinates and implements specials and promotions. Balances cash drawers and maintains sales records. Prepares appropriates reports. Establishes systems and training programs to provide a safe working environment. Implements, revises and maintains proper work routines for all cafeteria positions. Monitors production needs for the cafeteria and schedules all cafeteria employees. Develops and implements retail services plan to improve service, quality and profitability of service areas. Assists with budget process.

Responsibilities also include maximizing the use of available resources to reflect the standard of patient care and productivity. Monitoring the quality of patient care and ensuring compliance with all professional, Joint Commission and other regulatory standards. Monitoring of customer service developing plans to improve customer service based on internal and external surveys. Prepares all budgets and monitors financial performance of areas in accordance with hospital policies.

Dietary Aide
Present and serve cafeteria food in a courteous and prompt manner and in a safe and appetizing fashion. Perform cashiering duties quickly and accurately.

Food Service Worker
Under the general supervision of the Supervisors or Department Director, work involves independent performance and working under established procedures. Performs a variety of task and operations to prepare food items and set up patient and cafeteria meal service. Performs job duties related to cleaning and sanitizing of patient and cafeteria equipment. May also be responsible for performing other duties assigned by the supervisors or Director.
