Unit Secretary
The Unit Secretary performs clerical and receptionist duties essential to the operation of patient care units as directed from physicians and registered nurses. Is guided by knowledge of established routines, policies and procedures, and by oral and/or written instructions. Is cognizant of the standard, objective and policies of the Department of Nursing and the Hospital. The Unit Secretary will organize and facilitate the delivery of nursing care to groups of patients in compliance with hospital and nursing service policies, procedures and standard of care. The Unit Secretary reports to the Assistant Head Nurse/Head Nurse.

Clinical Care Coordinator (RLS & MKSCHC)
The Clinical Care Coordinator (CCC) assumes the responsibility of developing and implementing the philosophy and objective of the Hospital and the Nursing Department. The CCC administers, directs and coordinates activities of nursing and patient care services. Supervises both administrative and clinical functions for the purpose of providing safe and competent care to the patient. Collaborates with other health disciplines and supportive services in coordinating and supervising the management of the units and patient care delivery.

Assistant Head Nurse
Work is performed under general supervision from the Clinical Care Coordinator or Head Nurse. The Assistant Head Nurse in the absence of the Head Nurse or by delegation, administers, directs and coordinates activities of patient care administration within a specific unit.

Registered Nurse
The Registered Nurse(RN) guided by a comprehensive knowledge of nursing theory and practice, applies the nursing process. The RN reports to the Head Nurse/Clinical Care Coordinator. The RN assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for an assigned tour of duty.

Certified Nurse Assistant (RLS & MKSCHC)
The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) completes patient care related tasks and documents patient care in compliance with department policies and procedures, while maintaining sensitivity to patient's physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. The CNA reports to the Head Nurse/Nurse in Charge and works under the supervision of a registered nurse. The CNA assists the nursing staff in performing selected nursing procedures and functional tasks to specific patients.

Licensed Practical Nurse
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) reports to the Head Nurse/Clinical Care Coordinator and works under the supervision of the registered nurse. The LPN participates in the application of the nursing process to an assigned group of patients.

The patient escort under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, is responsible for safe, timely, and efficient movement of patient, supplies and equipment.

Emergency Room Technician
Emergency Room Technician (ERT) working at Schneider Regional Medical Center Emergency Room Department in collaboration with the emergency room department staff assumes responsibility for care and safety of patients, equipment, and supplies. The ERT reports to the charge nurse, Head Nurse, Clinical Care Coordinator, and Emergency Room Physician. In addition, the ERT ensures effective communication to staff at all times and performs duties as indicated by the individuals that he or she reports per policy and procedure.
