 The Roy Lester Schneider Hospital, a division of the Schneider Regional Medical Center, has been serving the medical needs of patients all over the Caribbean since 1982. Being the only hospital on the picturesque St. Thomas Island, we're a critical component in the overall health and welfare of the residents of the US Virgin Islands.
The first thing that the medical profession teaches its practitioners is — no, not medicine or human anatomy — but trust! Unless the patient has trust in the method of treatment and the doctors who administer the treatment, there can be no effective recovery from illness. While it is true that most of us come to a hospital when we are ill or injured, the difference lies in the fact that the more we believe in the treatment, the sooner we recover.
A Reminder to all Patients
When registering for services at the Roy Lester Schneider Hospital, you must bring your insurance card, proof of mailing address (such as utility or telephone bill), and a picture ID. For admitting information call the hospital at 776-8311 (ext. 2174 or 2175). For a financial counselor call 776-8311 (ext. 2176).
