This person directs and manages patient care activities on the Behavioral Health Unit; Supervises unit administrative and clinical functions; Works collaboratively with other disciplines and supportive services to ensure the provision of safe and efficient quality care to all patients; and enforces the education and implementation of the philosophy and objectives of the hospital and nursing department; Must have successfully completed an approved Nursing Program and passed the RN NCLEX exam. BSN with leadership experience preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of acute clinical nursing experience in Behavioral Health required. Must possess interpersonal and organizational skills; exceptional communication skills. Computer skills necessary. Must possess certificate of completion for Crisis prevention Intervention (CPI).
