Collects data through observation based on knowledge of psychiatric nursing and theories; Uses problems solving in developing a psychiatric nursing care plan; Participates with members of the multidisciplinary team in assessing planning, implementing, and evaluating a care plan for clients; Modifies the environment to establish and maintain therapeutic milieu. This person is trained in Crisis Prevention Intervention.
