This person assumes responsibility and accountability for the duties of the position and is cognizant of the philosophy, standards, objectives, and policies of the Schneider Regional Medical Center and their respective Department.

Demonstrates clinical competence in the performance of clinical skills applicable to the Labor and Delivery Unit. Accepts basic leadership roles and responsibilities which include and not limited to, teaching ancillary and other staff members to meet the needs o clients, acts as a role model, participates in own evaluation and of others. Demonstrates the ability to scrub and circulate for Cesarean Section and Bilateral Tubal Ligation. Demonstrates the ability in the performance of external fetal monitoring and interpretation of fetal heart trainings. Implements age-specific patient and family teaching based on identified needs and discharge plan. LDRP experience preferred. Current AHA BLS and NRP certifications. Must be knowledgeable and comfortable working with computers.
