Message from the Interim Chief Executive Officer
The Schneider Regional Medical Center is dedicated to achieving our mission of providing comprehensive, quality healthcare to our patients in a safe environment. Throughout the past year we have made strides in improving the quality of care and have expanded our services to better meet the needs of the people of the Virgin Islands and the Caribbean.
We continue to rally around the goals of superior quality health care, continued compliance with Joint Commission, CMS and other regulatory agencies, and efficient use of our modest resources.
We are committed to investments in best patient care practices, financial stability, operational efficiency, employee accountability, recruitment and retention, staff education and training. We continue to expand our services and make improvements to our facilities.
We are aggressively addressing our challenges and the on-going opportunities for operational and process improvements with our colleagues in St. Croix as well as our Senators and our Government Agencies.
As we find ways to take advantage of our opportunities, we are ever mindful that we will be faced with new challenges.
